Golden Gate East Borneo and Kemala Island Tourism - Kutai Kartanegara Regency is a district in East Borneo (East Kalimantan), Indonesia. The capital city is in Tenggarong city. In the city as the capital Tenggarong Regency, there is many choice attractions that can be enjoyed or visited by tourist, among which the Bridge Kutai Kertanegara. Built to resemble the Golden Gate Bridge located in San Fransisco. Kumala island in 2000 developed into a tourist area. Kumala island is in the Mahakam river delta that extends to the west of the city Tenggarong, Kutai Kertanegara. Kumala island Recreation park is about 27 km from the citi of Samarinda that can be achieved through a Kutai bridge within 30 minute.

This bridge is a means of connecting between the city of Tenggarong Seberang with Tenggarong City. Leght of The bridge is 580 metres. Built to resemble the Golden Gate Bridge located in San Fransisco.

Kutai Kertanegara bridge is one of the city sights in the Regency area can be reached through the city or provincial capital Samarinda, Balikpapan. The long traveling from Samarinda +/- 30 minute, while from Balikpapan reached by +/- 2 hours.

Kemala Island TourismThis bridge is also the access to the city of Samarinda, or on the contrary that can be achieved only about 30 minute. Each four - wheeled vehicle passing imposed levy.

If we passed the bridge is also there is the interesting sights can be seen, namely the Kemala Island, the spread of a small island that separates the city and Tenggarong Seberang Regency.

While the city of Balikpapan which has facilities Sepinggan Airport and Port Semayang which is  access of air and sea transportation in East Borneo. Located 130 km that can be achieved for 3 hours. In addition Kumala Island Recreation Park can also be reached by water transport through the Mahakam River.

In this island there are DSJ Resort, complete with swimming pool and facilities for those who want a break, that is only cottage in the middle of the Mahakam River in the location in this island there is a giant aquarium where inhabited the dolphin fish and freshwater dolphins where rare fish found only in China and  Brazil. Kumala island tourism is located in a middle of the Mahakam river is recreation park with modern technology and traditional culture facilities such a sky-high tower of 100 metres to enjoy the beauty scenery Mahakam rivers and  Rail mini game area to around the island and a cable train gondola.
